Under the Sisterhood
Women’s health inside and out with Komel Caruso.
Today we’re getting under the hood of Komel Caruso a mother, daughter, sister, and the Chief Growth Officer and co-founder of HerMD.
HerMD was inspired by her mother, who nearly lost her life due to repeated dismissals in the healthcare system. HerMD’s mission is to ensure patients are not invisible - that they are seen, heard, and given the time to express all of their healthcare concerns in a shame and stigma-free environment.
She has a deep understanding of the customer and the patient's needs. Her unique ability is translating that into powerful marketing, branding, and business development that translates into brand reputation and loyalty.
With nearly 20 years of experience in marketing and branding, Komel’s personal mission is to create a women’s healthcare brand that educates, advocates for, and empowers patients to demand the healthcare they deserve. To create a community that ensures patients do not feel alone in their journey - a community where patients can laugh together, cry together, and one that makes them feel vibrant - both inside and out.
